Begin one with us at Loch Lyme Lodge
Historic Loch Lyme Lodge is situated on Post Pond in Lyme,NH, not far from Hanover and Dartmouth, in the picturesque Connecticut river valley. We have 21 cabins for rent set in 120 acres of fields and woodlands. These cabins are a mixture of bed and breakfast and efficiency cabin accommodations, in a peaceful and natural setting. This makes it a wonderful place for a family reunion, family camp or a simple quiet vacation, with an emphasis on family fun, peace and quiet, a caring staff and a congenial clientele. We are also able to host Weddings.
Loch Lyme Lodge is a rustic and eco-friendly vacation spot. This means simple furnishings with no telephones or televisions, no video arcade, no hot tubs,no air conditioning, no microwaves and no bar with nightly entertainment. We do provide Internet access in the main house.
There is no shortage of things to do as we are surrounded by lakes and mountains, and this is a great base for fishing , hiking and biking the region.
Our cabins can accomodate anything from one to two people to large parties. Decide how many people will be staying, whether you want a bed and breakfast or efficiency cabin then use this site to find your perfect NH cabin in the trees or by the lake. Our dining room is open to Lodge guests and the public. We offer full breakfast, sandwiches and snacks during the day, and our chef always prepares a wonderful dinner in the evenings.

The Historic Lodge
Built in 1784
The Lodge, built in 1784, is home to our dining rooms and kitchen headed by our own chef. Our dining room is open to Lodge guests and the public. We offer full breakfast, sandwiches and snacks during the day, and our chef always prepares a wonderful dinner in the evenings.

We serve a full American breakfast each morning. At lunch you can come in your bathing suit and find salads, sandwiches, soup and ice cream. Each evening we offer full dinners. After soup and/or salad, you can select from one of our meat, fish or poultry or vegetarian options. We always have desserts. Our traditional Sunday night buffet is served by the lake at 6:00. Take a look at our sample menu on the dining page. Please remember that we do not have a liquor license, so feel free to bring your own wine. The dining room at Loch Lyme Lodge is open to Lodge guests and the public. If you're not staying in a cabin, we appreciate a call ahead to make a reservation, 603-795-2141.

Bed and Breakfast or Efficiency
Loch Lyme Lodge has 11 Bed and Breakfast cabins and 10 Efficiency cabins.
Use the menus above to find the perfect cabin for you, you can choose by cabin size or use the map to find the right location for you if accessibility is a concern.
Bed and Breakfast Cabins
The Bed and Breakfast cabins include a full American breakfast as well as lodging, daily maid service, the use of all Loch Lyme facilities, and daily firewood delivery. A typical B&B cabin has a bedroom with a king bed or two single beds, a living room with a fireplace and a daybed, a bath, and a porch. Two bedroom cabins typically have a king bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the second.
Efficiency Cabins
The Efficiency Cabins include lodging, the use of all Loch Lyme facilities, daily firewood delivery and trash collection, and linens. The weekly rate does not include meals. A typical Efficiency cabin has a living room with a fireplace, from one to four bedrooms, a bath, a kitchen or kitchenette, an outdoor campground grill, and a screened porch. Most Efficiency cabins have an additional daybed in the living room.

Relax by the Private Waterfront
The waterfront is a popular area for guests and families. Bordered by a grassy area dotted with lawn chairs, stairs lead down to a dock, a swimming area with a sandy bottom, and a raft. Boats, kayaks, and canoes are available for use by guests. The lake is also a great fishing spot.
A waterfront buffet takes place every Sunday.

Our Tennis pro, Joe Applegate will be available on Mondays for lessons and games during the Summer. Pretend you are at the French Open on our clay courts. Hopefully Rafael Nadal won't turn up.
Kayaking
Lots of Rainbow trout and smallmouth bass to be had here if you didn't think a yellow muddler is something you stir your cocktail with.
